Training for Success
Money By Design provide a variety of training workshops
that promise to enhance your skills in fund raising. Samples of
workshops include:
1. Proposal Development (Proficient Level) -
Detailed step-by-step process of "how to" write a basic proposal
(includes the six sections contained in the basic proposal).

Proposal Development (Advanced Level) - Proficient Level Package + "how
to" write an advanced proposal (includes the fifteen sections contained
in the advanced proposal).
The proposal development training
workshops will enhance a client's ability to receive awarding winning
grants. Both workshops empower clients to develop skills that transform
their proposal writing from:
- Disorganized to structured,
- Vague to precise,
- Stilted to conversational, and
- Passive to action oriented.
3. How to Prepare an Evaluation Report - A detailed
overview answering the who, what, when, where, and how to prepare an
evaluation report; including various types of evaluation instruments
that can be used to monitor your success.
4. Contacting Potential Funders - The appropriate ways to handle correspondence with potential funders.
5. Budgets - A detailed step-by-step breakdown of how to develop a thorough budget that includes all projected expenditures.
6. Major Gifts - A step-by-step approach to identify and solicit donors for a gift of a significant amount.
7. Cultivating Donor Relationships - How to identify and establish long-term relationships with donors.

Planned Giving - An introduction on ways to develop a planned gift
portfolio, i.e., Wills, Bequests, Living Trusts, et cetera.

Strategic Planning - A step-by-step approach used to determine your
organizations long and short term fund raising goals; including but not
limited to action plans, on-going monitoring and evaluation tools for
success.
10. Principles and Methods Used in Fund Raising - An
overview of effective systems and techniques used to raise funding to
support your goals.
